Gaer Cottage
Gaer Cottage is a spacious stone cottage, situated in the heart of a Welsh valley. Enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, whilst not dampening the natural habitats around. It is a splendid base from which to walk, cycle or ride in order to discover the diversity of Mid Wales and local natural resources. This area is a superb home to birds of prey such as the Buzzard and Red Kite.
The Accomodation
Gaer Cottage comfortably sleeps five people in two rooms with ensuites to both.
The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave, cooker with fan oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Plus plenty of utensils and crockery for your everyday needs.
The double bedroom has a kingsize bed and single bed with en-suite bathroom. It enjoys spectacular views out across the valley.
The second bedroom is a twin room with two single beds with en-suite bathroom.
Downstairs is a very spacious lounge/ dining area with comfortable seating and dining for 6. The lounge is equipped with TV, DVD and stereo system. A conservatory leads off the lounge with seating area to take in the views. There is also a spacious downstairs shower room.
Gaer Cottage has its own large private hot tub for relaxing, whether under the stars or during a sunny afternoon.
The Location
Gaer Cottage is situated on Gaer Farm, our family farm. Located up a small country road with plenty of off road parking. Gaer Cottage has easy access to the countryside for walking and is 4.5 miles from Builth Wells and 8 miles from Llandrindod Wells.
The Elan Valley is a short drive away. Brecon Beacon and Hay on Wye both on your doorstep.
